MST Groep is een consulterend ingenieursbureau gevestigd in Nederland en Roemenië. Wij richten ons op mobiliteitsoplossingen van vandaag en morgen binnen onze kernmarkten zware voertuigen en mobiele machines. Dit ga je doen

Als Mechanical Lead Engineer combineer je strategisch inzicht met technische diepgang. Je zet de inhoudelijke lijnen uit in verschillende projecten en bewaakt de balans van technische abstractie en detail engineering in de diverse project fases. Op een praktische wijze neem je verantwoordelijkheid over toegepaste normeringen, industriële best practices en beperkingen. Jij weet overtuigend te onderbouwen dat een ontwerp voldoet, functioneel werkt, en in geval van complexe technische problematiek ben je analytisch en communicatief in staat om dit op te lossen. Daarnaast haal je voldoening uit het inhoudelijk vormen, motiveren en laten groeien van een team van engineers, rekening houdend met de visie van MST Groep.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Technische besluitvorming op mechanisch vlak;
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van engineering en borgt de “definition of done”;
  • Beoordelen van en bijdragen aan interne en externe technische documentatie;
  • Je werkt nauw samen met MST engineers, klantenteams en toeleveranciers;
  • Samenwerken met andere disciplines zoals Controls, Safety en Management;
  • Communicatie met klanten en collega’s.

Je neemt daarnaast initiatief om werkmethodes te verbeteren, passend bij de groei en ambitie van MST Groep. In onze dynamische organisatie weet jij prioriteiten te stellen en fungeer je als sparringpartner voor zowel je team als het management.

Over jou

  • HBO werk- en denkniveau, met een achtergrond in werktuigbouwkunde of een vergelijkbare technische richting;
  • Minimaal 8 jaar werkervaring in een soortgelijke branche/positie;
  • Sterke technische en analytische vaardigheden;
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met technische besluitvorming;
  • Kennis van Systems Engineering en Agile werkmethodes;
  • Affiniteit met het coachen en ondersteunen van collega’s;
  • Goede beheersing van Nederlandse en Engelse taal, Duits is een pré;
  • Communicatief vaardig, besluitvaardig en in staat om het overzicht te bewaren.
