About Us
Wonka helps companies adopt AI for their business. With Wonka, teams can easily integrate AI and solve their day-to-day problems. We have worked with more than 200 companies and are currently serving thousands of users every day on our AI adoption platform. We are a small team of 30+ passionate people, driven by the mission to help non-technical people surf the AI wave.
About the Role
As an AI Implementation Specialist, you will take teams of 20 to 30 staff from occasional to weekly use of AI on their own tasks. You will run hands-on workshops, coach people at their desks and make sure every participant ends with at least one weekly task turned into a tested, AI-supported routine. You do not need to write code, but you do need to be at ease in front of a room and patient with people who are new to AI. Adoption, not attendance, is the end deliverable.
What You Will Do
- Run inspiration sessions and hands-on workshops in groups of 10 to 15, using the team's own files rather than generic examples.
- Coach participants one-to-one at their desk and host Drop-in Clinics for anyone who gets stuck.
- Follow up to three teams at the same time, each over an 8 to 12 week cycle.
- Help each participant turn one weekly task into a tested use case, and collect the best prompts for a shared prompt library.
- Where needed, build simple AI agents and workflows inside the client's existing tools.
- Keep the team record up to date and spot the power users who can become future AI Champions.
- Cover responsible use in every session: what must never go into an AI tool and how to check an output before using it.
What a Typical Work Week Looks Like
- Monday: You are on site with a unit, running a hands-on workshop on drafting briefings with the institution's AI assistant.
- Tuesday: You coach five participants one by one at their desks on their own tasks. In the afternoon, you host a Drop-in Clinic for anyone with questions.
- Wednesday: You run an inspiration session for a new team, with a live demo of what AI can and cannot do for their work.
- Thursday: You prepare representative cases with the AI Business Analyst and review the latest additions to the prompt library.
- Friday: Participants present the use cases they built during a sharing session. You update the team record and end your week with a sync with the programme lead.
What You Will Bring
Core Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in training, consulting, change management or AI adoption, including running workshops for adults.
- Daily use of generative AI in your own work, and the ability to build simple agents and workflows without coding.
- Comfort in front of a room of 10 to 15 people as well as one-to-one at someone's desk.
- Patient, plain-language communication with non-technical people.
- Fluency in English and French. English is the working language of the programme.
- Willingness to go through the security screening the client requires before you start.
Nice to Have
- Experience with public administrations or EU institutions.
- Knowledge of the AI Act, in particular AI literacy under Article 4, and of data protection rules.
- Dutch or another EU language.
Note on fit: If you meet most of the must-haves and are genuinely excited about the rest, apply. Research consistently finds that people, especially women, pass on roles they would do well in because a requirements list reads like a checklist. This role is also a strong next step if you are coming from corporate training, L&D, change management or consulting.
How We Work
You will join a core team that shares methods and materials from day one: the curriculum, team records and use case inventories. You will spend your first weeks alongside the programme lead and more senior team members, then take ownership of your own teams. Most of your week is spent on site at the client in Brussels, with internal days at our office in Diegem and occasional trips to other EU sites. The client's security screening takes time, so we are selecting candidates now for a start in early 2027.
In exchange, we offer a front-row seat in one of the largest AI adoption programmes in Europe. You will learn how to run AI adoption at scale: change management, adult learning, prompt engineering, responsible use under the AI Act and delivery inside a consortium with strict IT and security rules.
