Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Junior Aviation Consultant to join our young and multidisciplinary team. We seek a curious and analytical person who wants to engage in complex airport projects, in Italy and internationally. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experts from various disciplines, contributing to the design and development of innovative, sustainable, and functional airport infrastructures and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

By joining our team, you will be involved in various phases of the projects, from the analysis phase to the development of design solutions.

In particular, you will be responsible for:

  • Analysing and sizing airport terminals, studying the passenger flows, operational processes, and the needs of the different functional areas: check-in, security, passport control, gates, baggage reclaim, and landside/airside.
  • Developing capacity and level of service (LOS) analyses of the main components of the terminal, identifying critical issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Developing traffic scenarios and demand models, assessing their impact on sizing and on the operational performance of the terminal.
  • Using simulation models and analysis tools to evaluate passenger flows, waiting times, capacity, and alternative configurations of the spaces.
  • Contribute to the design and definition of the functional layouts of terminals, translating operational and traffic requirements into efficient and sustainable design solutions.
  • Evaluate different design alternatives considering capacity, functionality, operability, passenger experience and possibilities for future development of the infrastructure.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, technical-quantitative analyses, reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders, also contributing to the discussion and presentation of the results.
  • Work on airport projects in Italy and at an international level, engaging with terminals, operators and different operational contexts.

Requirements:

We are looking for a person with a solid technical background, but above all with the willingness to learn, grow and gradually take on new responsibilities.

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Between 2 and 4 years of experience in related roles, preferably in aviation, airport, mobility, engineering or consulting.
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills, with an aptitude for solving complex problems.
  • Good organisational and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Passion for aviation, curiosity and a desire to continuously explore new topics.
  • Precision, initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong team working skills and interest in a dynamic and international environment.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
