Who are we looking for :

We are looking for a Junior Aviation Consultant to join our team. We seek a curious, analytical person with a strong passion for the aviation world, who is eager to transform their knowledge into practical experience and grow professionally in the field of terminal planning and airport consulting. You will have the opportunity to work on complex airport projects in Italy and internationally, closely collaborating with experienced professionals and colleagues from various disciplines. You will be involved in the analysis and design activities of the terminals, contributing to the development of efficient, sustainable, and passenger experience-oriented infrastructures.

The role includes a training and progressive growth path, with the possibility of acquiring technical and project skills and gradually taking on greater responsibilities within the projects.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Junior Aviation Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Analysing passenger flows, operational data, and traffic scenarios to support terminal planning activities.
  • Contributing to capacity and level of service (LOS) analyses of the main components of the terminal, such as check-in, security, passport control, gates, and baggage reclaim.
  • Supporting the development of demand and traffic scenarios and assessing their impacts on the sizing and performance of the terminal.
  • Use analytical, modelling and simulation tools (Fast Time Simulation) to study passenger flows, waiting times, capacity and alternative configurations.
  • Contribute to the definition of layouts and functional solutions for terminals, starting from operational and traffic requirements.
  • Support the evaluation of different design alternatives considering capacity, functionality, operability, sustainability and passenger experience.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of studies, technical-quantitative analyses, reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings and engage with airports, operators and professionals from various disciplines.
  • Work on national and international projects, gradually gaining a comprehensive view of the airport sector.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Between 0 and 2 years of experience, including any internships or placements, preferably in aviation, airport, mobility, engineering or consulting.
  • Interest in terminal planning, airport operations and airport design.
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills and a problem-solving attitude.
  • Good organisational and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Passion for aviation, curiosity and a desire to explore new topics.
  • Precision, proactivity and a willingness to take on challenges.
  • Teamwork skills and interest in a dynamic and international environment.
  • Good knowledge of the English language
