Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary

We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable on behalf of our client. We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to coordinate day-to-day receivables operations, support the team and help deliver accurate, efficient billing and cash allocation across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate processing and timely completion.
  • Support billing and invoicing, maintaining accurate client records, fee schedules and pricing data.
  • Process and review cash receipts and allocations.
  • Support month-end activities, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of receivables balances.
  • Collaborate with the Group Credit Controller and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support effective debt collection.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails, escalating operational issues and control risks.
  • Guide junior team members and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in accounts receivable, billing or finance operations.
  • Good understanding of order-to-cash processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Experience with finance systems or ERP platforms, process improvement, or a multi-jurisdictional or professional services environment is an advantage.
