The Business Manager will develop the overall business plan for PURINA SG - brand and product portfolio and successfully drive the execution and results by leading and coordinating cross-functional teams and using Nestlé in the Market shared services.

A day in the life of a Business Manager…

1. Delivery of agreed plans and business results in close collaboration with Business Co-Pilot.

2. Lead, manage and grow the business profitably. Drive and create competitive gaps through business efficiency improvements at every step of the value chain. Influence all relevant lines of the P&L, TTS, PFME etc.

3. Business Planning and goal alignment: Lead and manage the Business Planning process with different stakeholders (MBS, ICP, DF, MBP).

4. Leadership of business teams and development of his/her direct reports.

5. Delight consumers. Deep consumer knowledge, shared effectively with relevant cross-functional stakeholders. Delivery, in collaboration with Category / Channel and Customer teams and other businesses in the Market, of shopper insight and experiences that delight consumers / shoppers.

6. Win with Customers. Provide strategic direction / input for development of Channel, Customer and Field Sales strategies in line with business requirements (MBS and Operational plan / ICP). Constantly challenge the sales organization to ensure its results and effectiveness.

7. Represents and drives the development of all NPP business streams, from Operations to Finance and Generating Demand (Sales, Marketing, CDT).

What Will Make You Successful...

1. More than 10 years in business with 8 years in Marketing and Sales. Over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top-line and bottom-line business results. Alternatively, has 8–10 years’ experience in a related function with demonstrated commercial acumen and potential for a business role.

2. Leading and managing cross-functional teams at local market level.

3. Active player within a matrix organization and business / project multi-disciplinary teams at international level.

4. Successfully developed people (former staff have progressed).

5. Has worked in another market in addition to their home base.

6. Preferably has worked in the center, either in SBU or Zone.
