Job Title: Dark Store Manager

Department: Operations Job Level: Managerial Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: On-site Work Location: Giza, Egypt Working Hours: 10 hours per day, including a 1-hour break Days Off: 1 day per week Salary Range: EGP 25,000–30,000 net per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Dark Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage inventory and warehouse activities, lead the operations team, and ensure efficient order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily dark store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, receiving, storage, and dispatching activities.
  • Ensure accurate order picking, packing, and timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor stock availability, inventory accuracy, expiration dates, and product quality.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate store staff to achieve operational targets and maintain productivity.
  • Develop staff schedules and manage shift rotations to ensure adequate operational coverage.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including order fulfillment time, picking accuracy, inventory discrepancies, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify operational issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, hygiene standards, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, delivery, and customer service teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and provide insights to senior management.
  • Control operational costs, minimize waste, and improve resource utilization.
  • Ensure the store layout supports efficient picking, storage, and order processing.
  • Handle operational escalations and ensure timely resolution of inventory and fulfillment issues.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and overall store performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management, retail operations, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is highly preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, grocery retail, or fulfillment center operations is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, organize shifts, and drive operational performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory or warehouse management systems.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and on-site according to operational requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on:

  • Order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
  • Inventory accuracy and stock discrepancy rates.
  • Stock availability and replenishment efficiency.
  • Team productivity and attendance.
  • Operational cost control and waste reduction.
  • Compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly operational targets.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly net salary ranging from EGP 25,000 to EGP 30,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Medical insurance after three months.
  • Social insurance after three months.
  • Full-time, on-site employment.
