Job Title: Dark Store Supervisor

Department: Operations Job Level: Supervisory Number of Vacancies: 2 to 3 Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: On-site Work Locations: Maadi, Heliopolis, Tagamo3 Working Hours: 10 hours per day, including a 1-hour break Days Off: 1 day per week Working Schedule: Rotational shifts Salary: EGP 16,000 net per month Transportation Allowance: EGP 1,000 per month for employees working in New Cairo and 6th of October Medical Insurance: Available after 3 months Social Insurance: Available after 3 months

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Dark Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, supervise frontline staff, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure efficient order processing and fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily dark store operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Monitor order picking, packing, and dispatching to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee receiving, storing, organizing, and replenishing inventory.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and monitor product expiration dates and quality.
  • Track inventory discrepancies and report shortages, damages, or stock-related issues.
  • Assign daily tasks to team members and ensure proper execution of operational procedures.
  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, and adherence to shift schedules.
  • Support the Dark Store Manager in achieving operational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, food safety procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain an organized store layout to improve picking efficiency and inventory accessibility.
  • Coordinate with delivery, inventory, and operations teams to resolve order fulfillment issues.
  • Identify operational challenges and escalate major issues to the Dark Store Manager.
  • Prepare shift reports covering order fulfillment, inventory discrepancies, staff performance, and operational incidents.
  • Train new employees on store procedures, inventory handling, and order processing standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and minimize operational errors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant educational background is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, retail operations, inventory management, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is an advantage.
  • Experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, grocery retail, or fulfillment operations is preferred.
  • Good understanding of inventory control, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to supervise teams and coordinate daily operational activities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and on-site according to operational requirements.
  • Flexibility to work in one of the designated locations: New Cairo, Heliopolis, or 6th of October.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Dark Store Supervisor's performance will be evaluated based on:

  • Order picking and fulfillment accuracy.
  • Order processing and dispatching efficiency.
  • Inventory accuracy and stock discrepancy rates.
  • Team productivity and adherence to shift schedules.
  • Compliance with operational procedures and safety standards.
  • Reduction of picking errors, damaged products, and operational waste.
  • Achievement of daily operational targets.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Net monthly salary of EGP 16,000.
  • Monthly transportation allowance of EGP 1,000 for employees working in New Cairo and 6th of October.
  • Medical insurance after 3 months.
