Viking Assistance Group is a leading roadside and travel assistance company in the Nordics. Our new business area, Viking Travel Care provides travel- and medical assistance 24/7 365 days a year for travellers and employees stationed abroad, anywhere in the world.

We are excited to announce our expansion and are actively hiring Assistance Coordinators fluent in Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish to join our teams in Spain, at both our Fuengirola and Torrevieja offices.

About the job

Your job is to listen to the customer's needs, collect information, give answers about insurance coverage, refer the customer to a doctor/clinic, sending payment guarantees, arranging medical repatriations, booking hotels and to collaborate with our partners in the insurance and assistance business.

The tasks should be carried out giving excellent customer service and ensuring that the customer gets the necessary assistance. Full training will be given. Good career opportunities!

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility and comfort with working rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

For this job, several types of education and/or work experience can be relevant. Your motivation and personality are sometimes more important than a certain background. However, from experience we know that these qualifications often are a good match:

Experience

• Worked as a Tour Guide / Experience in the travel industry

• Health sector, Insurance or Customer service

Education

• Tourism, International studies, Language studies

• Medical studies / health-related fields

• Law / Insurance

We are seeking someone with

• Fluency in one or more Nordic languages, both written and spoken

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken

• Additional language skills are a plus

Desired skills

• You like helping people and thrive in a hectic environment

• You communicate well both on the phone and in writing

• You are structured and do your tasks in good quality

• You enjoy working in a team but can also work independently

• You have good work ethics and are eager to learn

• You are positive, flexible and solution oriented

Work terms

• Fulltime

• Location: Fuengirola or Torrevieja, Spain

• Work form: Day, evening, nights and weekend shifts in rotation
