Job Title: Operations & Production Planning

Location: Jaipur, India

Experience: 5~6 years

Industry: (Mining/Construction Equipment)

Education Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics)

Objective of the Role

The primary objective of the role is to ensure effective production planning, scheduling, and control of manufacturing operations by aligning customer demand, material availability, production capacity, and resource utilization. The role aims to achieve on-time delivery commitments, optimize manufacturing lead times and inventory levels, ensure efficient utilization of resources, and maintain smooth production flow through effective ERP-based planning, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Planning & Organizing – Ability to develop production plans, prioritize activities, and manage schedules effectively.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving – Ability to analyse production deviations, material shortages, capacity constraints, and delivery risks to identify practical solutions.
  • Execution Excellence – Ability to monitor production progress, follow up on actions, and ensure timely completion of planned activities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Sales teams.
  • Customer Focus – Understanding of customer delivery commitments and the importance of meeting agreed timelines.
  • Decision-Making & Prioritization – Ability to assess changing requirements, evaluate operational priorities, and make timely planning decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement – Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements in production flow, planning accuracy, and resource utilization.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management – Ability to communicate plans, risks, schedule changes, and corrective actions clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Accountability & Ownership – Demonstrates responsibility for planning accuracy, schedule adherence, and timely closure of assigned actions.
  • Adaptability & Agility – Ability to respond effectively to changing customer requirements, material availability, engineering changes, and production constraints.
  • SkillsDynamics ERP D365 Microsoft excel & power point, Power BI Sovelia or similar PRODUCT life cycle management (PLM)
  • AbilitiesAttention to Detail and Data Accuracy Production Planning and Scheduling Capacity Planning and Resource Optimization Manufacturing Operations and Production Control Production Order Management and Schedule Adherence Supply Chain and Cross-Functional Coordination Planning, Prioritization and Time Management
  • Relevant Work ExperienceRelevant experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment, including production scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, inventory control, and production order monitoring. Experience in ERP-based planning, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, and coordinating with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Stores to ensure material availability, resolve production bottlenecks, and achieve customer delivery commitments. Experience in data analysis, MIS reporting, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement is preferred. Exposure to customized equipment or discrete manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Main interactions of the role: - Regular interaction with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales & S&OP, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Operations Management to align production plans, material availability, capacity, and customer delivery commitments. Coordination with suppliers and other group functions as required.
