Why Join Omnicell?

At Omnicell, we are transforming the future of healthcare through innovative technology that improves outcomes for providers, caregivers, and patients. We are seeking a Sr. Revenue Analyst to join our Finance team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, reporting, forecasting, and compliance. In this highly visible role, you will partner with Accounting, FP&A, SEC Reporting, and Audit teams to drive financial accuracy, support strategic decision-making, and strengthen processes that enable business growth. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex financial challenges, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career.

What You'll Do

Primary Impact

As a Sr. Revenue Analyst, you will help ensure the integrity of Omnicell's revenue accounting processes by applying GAAP and ASC 606 principles, supporting forecasting and reporting activities, and driving operational excellence across revenue-related functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed financial and accounting analyses to ensure revenue is recognized accurately and in compliance with company policies, GAAP, and ASC 606 requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain revenue recognition schedules, deferred revenue analyses, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Support and optimize the NetSuite Revenue Accounting platform to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Review revenue allocations within NetSuite, validate system-generated results, and provide clear explanations for allocation changes and impacts.
  • Prepare revenue-related schedules and reporting packages for SEC reporting, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities through forecasting, analytical reviews, variance analysis, and revenue reporting.
  • Monitor revenue trends, identify anomalies, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Analyze pricing, billing activities, customer demand patterns, and market conditions to support business recommendations and revenue optimization.
  • Audit billing transactions and invoice processing to confirm alignment with contractual terms and pricing structures.
  • Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations, transaction pricing considerations, and revenue allocation requirements.
  • Partner closely with FP&A to support revenue accrual objectives, forecasting accuracy, and financial planning activities.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation, analyses, and support schedules.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, special projects, and ad hoc financial analyses that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Stay current on ASC 606 guidance and emerging revenue accounting practices to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience with direct exposure to revenue recognition principles.
  • Foundational knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue accounting requirements.
  • Experience analyzing large data sets and resolving financial discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of NetSuite experience, including Revenue Accounting functionality.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Revenue Accountant, Senior Accountant, or similar finance role.
  • Experience within a healthcare technology, medical device, software, SaaS, internet, or high-growth technology environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Public accounting or audit firm experience.
  • Experience supporting SEC reporting, external audits, or publicly traded company reporting requirements.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
