POSTE : Chef d'équipe fret aérien

Notre client est une entreprise innovatrice et avant-gardiste du secteur des transports qui a été fondée en 2008 sur la Rive-Nord de Montréal. Tout d'abord un transport traditionnel, cette organisation est aujourd'hui un partenaire unique dont la valeur ajoutée est le développement exclusif de solutions de transport personnalisées.

C'est dans un contexte de croissance organique du chiffre d'affaires et dune stratégie d'acquisition active que notre client cherche à compléter son équipe des opérations internationales.

Relevant du VP International, la personne recherchée jouera un rôle crucial dans la supervision et la gestion de l'équipe des opérations de fret aérien pour assurer une livraison dans les délais et offrir une prestation de service exceptionnelle.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

Coordonner de manière fluide et efficace les expéditions de fret aérien du point de départ à la destination, incluant la réservation des expéditions, la négociation des tarifs avec les compagnies aériennes, la préparation de la documentation;

Superviser l'équipe, assurer la gestion de la performance et favoriser leur développement professionnel;

Être le principal point de contact pour les clients, répondre à leurs demandes et résoudre tout problème ou préoccupation durant le processus de transport;

Assurer une conformité avec les lois et réglementations applicables relatives aux matières dangereuses, la sécurité et la conformité commerciale;

Développer et maintenir des relations avec les compagnies aériennes et d'autres prestataires de services, tout en négociant les ententes avec eux;

Analyser les indicateurs de performance et identifier des opportunités d'amélioration.

FORMATION ET QUALIFICATIONS

Détenir idéalement une formation en logistique de transport offerte par un établissement d'enseignement post-secondaire ou une formation offerte par CIFFA ou IATA ou un autre organisme reconnu.

Détenir au moins 10 ans d'expérience dans les opérations de fret aérien tant au niveau de l'exportation que de l'importation;

Très bonne connaissance du fret aérien, idéalement en exportation de biens vers des destinations à l'internationale;

Être à l'affût des modifications légales et règlementaires et être à jour dans ses connaissances juridiques liées au transport;

Excellentes habiletés en communication;

Bonne capacité à établir et maintenir de bonnes relations interpersonnelles avec les parties internes et externes;

Collaborateur capable de mobiliser son équipe;

Bonne capacité d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
