Ora Partenaires est à la recherche d’un(e) Contrôleur(e) pour l’un de ses clients, une entreprise établie sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal.

La personne recherchée jouera un rôle clé dans la gestion des opérations comptables et sera responsable d’assurer la qualité, l’exactitude et l’intégrité de l’information financière.

Il s’agit d’un rôle principalement axé sur la comptabilité financière et les opérations comptables, notamment les fermetures de périodes, la préparation des états financiers, les contrôles internes et la conformité, plutôt que sur l’analyse financière.

Vos principales responsabilités

  • Planifier et coordonner les différentes activités comptables;
  • Prendre en charge les processus de fermeture mensuelle et annuelle;
  • Préparer et réviser les écritures de journal, les conciliations de comptes et les différents postes du grand livre;
  • Préparer les états financiers périodiques et assurer l’exactitude de l’information financière;
  • Effectuer la révision des comptes de bilan et les suivis nécessaires;
  • Superviser et soutenir une ressource de l’équipe comptable;
  • Veiller à la qualité des processus comptables et au respect des contrôles internes;
  • Élaborer, documenter et maintenir les politiques, procédures et contrôles comptables;
  • Assurer le suivi comptable de différents éléments liés aux opérations de l’entreprise;
  • Participer à la préparation des rapports financiers requis par la direction et différents partenaires externes;
  • Assurer la préparation et la production des différentes déclarations gouvernementales et fiscales applicables;
  • Coordonner les travaux avec les vérificateurs externes et préparer la documentation nécessaire aux audits;
  • Collaborer avec les différents départements afin d’assurer la fiabilité de l’information comptable;
  • Identifier et mettre en place des améliorations permettant d’accroître l’efficacité et la fiabilité des processus financiers.

Profil recherché

  • Formation universitaire en comptabilité, finance ou dans un domaine connexe;
  • Titre CPA obtenu ou en voie d’obtention, souhaité;
  • Minimum de 5 années d’expérience pertinente en comptabilité;
  • Solide expérience en fermeture mensuelle et en préparation d’états financiers;
  • Maîtrise du cycle comptable complet;
  • Expérience en supervision ou intérêt pour la gestion d’équipe;
  • Bonne connaissance des normes comptables et des principes de contrôle interne;
  • Bonne connaissance des obligations fiscales et des taxes de vente applicables;
  • Aisance à travailler dans un environnement comportant des activités au Canada et à l’extérieur du pays, un atout;
  • Bilinguisme français-anglais.
