Sommaire du poste

Le ou la Directeur(trice) des ventes – Division Est est responsable de diriger et d’exécuter l’ensemble des activités de vente pour le portefeuille de lubrifiants et de produits connexes de Catalys dans l’Est canadien (Territoire : Ontario, Québec et provinces de l’Atlantique). Le rôle vise principalement à assurer une croissance rentable, à renforcer la présence de la marque et à accroître la part de marché dans la région.

La personne titulaire du poste jouera également un rôle clé dans l’élaboration des stratégies de vente régionales, en cohérence avec les objectifs nationaux.

Responsabilités principales

  • Développer et faire croître les ventes sur le territoire de l’Est. (Ontario, Québec et provinces de l’Atlantique)
  • Participer à l’élaboration des plans de ventes nationaux et régionaux;
  • Soutenir l’élaboration du budget annuel d’exploitation et assurer le suivi mensuel des ventes;
  • Élaborer des plans de territoire optimisés visant une croissance rentable
  • Développer de nouvelles occasions d’affaires et identifier de nouveaux clients potentiels.
  • Assurer le leadership quotidien des équipes de ventes sur le terrain et des ventes internes, en veillant à l’atteinte des objectifs
  • Encadrer, accompagner et développer l’équipe de vente afin d’améliorer ses compétences, et sa performance (évaluations de compétences, élaboration de plan de développements)
  • Superviser l’ensemble du pipeline des ventes et assurer une gestion rigoureuse des opportunités;
  • Favoriser l’utilisation du système CRM de l’entreprise et utiliser les tableaux de bord et rapports afin de suivre la performance;
  • Soutenir l’équipe dans l’établissement de relations durables avec les clients clés (planification et gestion stratégique des comptes);
  • Acquérir, gérer et développer les comptes majeurs à travers la région;
  • Collaborer avec les équipes internes, les fournisseurs et les partenaires externes afin d’améliorer la satisfaction des clients;
  • Identifier et développer les occasions de ventes et d’affaires;
  • Représenter Catalys lors d’événements de l’industrie et de rencontres avec les clients, au besoin;
  • Toutes autres tâches connexes

Profil recherché

  • De 7 à 12 ans d’expérience en direction et en développement d’équipes de ventes B2B;
  • La désignation Certified Lubricants Specialist (CLS), un atout;
  • Expérience dans un environnement industriel, manufacturier, ou connexe, un atout;
  • Forte capacité à développer et maintenir des relations d’affaires;
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et présentation;
  • Excellentes capacités à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément;
  • Approche axée sur les résultats.
  • Bonne maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, notamment Outlook, Excel, Word et PowerPoint.
  • Bonne maîtrise des systèmes CRM et la production de rapports;
  • Permis de conduire valide ;
  • Bilingue (français et anglais)

Position Summary

The Sales Director – Eastern Division is responsible for leading and executing all sales activities for Catalys’ portfolio of lubricants and related products across Eastern Canada. (Territory: Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces)

The primary focus of this role is to drive profitable growth, strengthen brand presence, and increase market share throughout the region.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in developing regional sales strategies aligned with the company’s national objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales throughout the Eastern territory (Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces);
  • Participate in the development of national and regional sales plans;
  • Support the development of the annual operating budget and monitor monthly sales performance;
  • Develop optimized territory plans focused on profitable growth;
  • Develop new business opportunities and identify potential new customers;
  • Provide daily leadership to field and inside sales teams, ensuring sales targets are achieved;
  • Coach, support, and develop the sales team to enhance skills and performance, including competency assessments and development plans;
  • Oversee the entire sales pipeline and ensure effective and disciplined opportunity management;
  • Promote the use of the company’s CRM system and reports to monitor performance;
  • Support the team in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers through strategic account planning and management;
  • Acquire, manage, and develop major accounts throughout the region;
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to improve customer satisfaction;
  • Identify and develop sales and business opportunities;
  • Represent Catalys at industry events and customer meetings, as required;
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 12 years of experience leading and developing B2B sales teams;
  • Certified Lubricants Specialist (CLS) designation is an asset;
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or related environment is an asset;
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain business relationships;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • Results-oriented approach;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems;
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
