Location: Full-time, primarily on-site in Yardley, PA (5 days/week), with occasional work-related travel and standard PTO.

Note: Must have an active Pennsylvania or New Jersey bar license and 4+ years of litigation experience (insurance defense and or coverage experience strongly preferred).

Job Description

  • Defend insurers and their insureds in first-party property and third-party liability matters
  • Manage cases from inception through resolution, including investigations, strategy, discovery, and motion practice
  • Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and key discovery materials; take and defend depositions
  • Prepare for mediations, arbitrations, and trial (including trial presentations)
  • Research coverage issues and draft clear, client-ready coverage opinions
  • Communicate directly with insurers, corporate legal departments, and opposing counsel to drive outcomes
  • Coordinate with partners and senior counsel while also mentoring and supporting junior attorneys

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license in PA or NJ required (additional licenses welcome; NY is a strong plus)
  • 4+ years of litigation experience (insurance defense and or coverage preferred)
  • Strong writing, analysis, and case-management skills across multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator who works well in a team-forward, high-standards environment
