Location

Orlando, FL — Primarily on-site, with typically one remote day per week available after your first 90 days. Enjoy working closely with our litigation team while gaining greater flexibility as you settle into the role.

Compensation: $115,000 to $135,000 annually, plus benefits and performance bonuses.

Note

Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Florida and have 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Insurance defense experience is preferred, but we also welcome qualified plaintiff-side litigators.

Job Description

  • Manage civil litigation matters from initial investigation through settlement or trial.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct depositions, legal research, and case evaluations.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Develop litigation strategies and negotiate favorable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support professionals to deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience handling discovery, motions, depositions, and litigation case preparation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Insurance defense experience preferred; plaintiff-side litigation experience welcomed.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail.
