Location

Dragoon, AZ | 100% On-Site | Monday through Friday, Day Shift

Join our team in beautiful southeastern Arizona, where you'll work closely with operations and have a direct impact on the facility's success. This position offers $115,000 to $155,000 annually, plus a 15% short-term incentive opportunity.

Note

Qualified candidates must have 6+ years of maintenance experience in open-pit mining with heap-leach processing, including 3+ years supervising fixed-plant mechanical and industrial electrical maintenance. Hands-on experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning, scheduling, and budgeting is also required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Job Description

As our Maintenance Superintendent, you'll lead the maintenance team responsible for keeping our mining and processing operations running safely and efficiently.

  • Lead, coach, and develop mechanical and electrical maintenance supervisors and technicians.
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for fixed-plant equipment and electrical systems.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, major repairs, shutdowns, and equipment upgrades.
  • Improve equipment availability and reliability while reducing unplanned downtime.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, contractor performance, materials, and repair costs.
  • Use CMMS software to track maintenance activities, improve scheduling, and support performance goals.
  • Partner with operations and safety teams to maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of maintenance experience in open-pit mining and heap-leach operations.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience covering both fixed-plant mechanical and industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Experience with CMMS software, maintenance planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Dragoon, Arizona.
