This is a high-impact leadership role requiring an individual who combines exceptional technical accounting expertise with strong commercial acumen and an investor mindset. The successful candidate will treat the Family Office as an institutional investment platform, ensuring disciplined capital allocation while maximizing cash generation and long-term value creation.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, execution-focused, and willing to work hands-on across strategic and operational finance matters.

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting across all entities.
  • Develop robust financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Accounting & Financial Control

  • Maintain world-class accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions and investment vehicles.
  • Ensure consolidated financial reporting for diverse asset classes and business interests.
  • Implement strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Continuously improve finance systems, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.

Tax & Corporate Structuring

  • Design and implement efficient corporate, legal, and tax structures for existing and future investments.
  • Work closely with international tax advisors on cross-border investments and regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate tax implications of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and investment vehicles.
  • Ensure optimal holding structures across jurisdictions while maintaining full regulatory compliance.

Investment Portfolio Management

  • Oversee the financial management of the Family Office's diversified investment portfolio across operating businesses, private equity, venture investments, real estate, financial assets, and strategic investments.
  • Monitor investment performance, liquidity, and portfolio returns.
  • Develop comprehensive financial analyses and investment dashboards for decision-making.
  • Work closely with investment teams and external advisors on portfolio optimization.

Capital Allocation

  • Drive disciplined capital allocation decisions using institutional investment principles.
  • Evaluate competing investment opportunities and recommend optimal deployment of capital.
  • Prepare detailed investment memorandums, financial models, valuation analyses, and recommendation papers for the Principal.
  • Assess risk-adjusted returns and ensure efficient utilization of scarce capital.

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Lead treasury strategy across all operating businesses and investment entities.
  • Build an efficient cash management framework focused on maximizing liquidity and cash generation.
  • Drive timely cash collections, dividend flows, and capital returns from portfolio companies, including operating businesses such as A2MP and other investments.
  • Optimize working capital and funding strategies across the portfolio.

Strategic Finance

  • Partner with the Principal on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, divestments, and new investment opportunities.
  • Conduct commercial due diligence and financial evaluation of potential investments.
  • Prepare board-quality financial presentations and strategic recommendations.
  • Support long-term wealth preservation and value creation objectives.

Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across the Family Office and associated entities.
  • Build a high-performance finance function with a culture of accountability, ownership, and execution.
  • Foster collaboration across investment, legal, tax, treasury, and operating business teams.

  • Strong commercial judgement combined with analytical rigor.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the willingness to work at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high levels of ownership and accountability.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
