Op locatie De Haar in Huizen wonen zeven ouder wordende mensen met een verstandelijke beperking. Bewoners wonen in een kleinschalige woonlocatie en hebben ieder hun eigen ondersteuningsvraag en mate van zelfstandigheid. Sommige bewoners hebben dagbesteding aan huis, anderen gaan buitenshuis. Thuis is er ruimte voor vertrouwde gewoonten, samen bidden, Bijbellezen en luisteren naar kerkdiensten.

Jouw team

Als begeleider werk je in een klein en betrokken team. Samen zorgen jullie voor duidelijkheid en een herkenbare manier van begeleiden. Jullie delen wat je ziet, bespreken wat bewoners nodig hebben en werken daarnaast samen met collega’s en verwanten.

Jouw uitdaging

Je biedt structuur en ondersteunt bewoners bij dagelijkse activiteiten, zoals koken, huishouden, financiën, sociale contacten, werk of dagbesteding en het plannen van de dag. Je kijkt naar wat iemand zelf kan, legt uit waar dat nodig is en oefent samen wanneer een volgende stap mogelijk is. Je signaleert veranderingen in gedrag, stemming of ondersteuningsbehoefte en bespreekt die met collega’s.

Je geeft duidelijke grenzen en houvast wanneer dat nodig is, maar neemt niet automatisch iets over omdat dat sneller of makkelijker is. Je zoekt steeds de balans tussen ondersteunen en loslaten. Juist daarin komen liefde, lef en meesterschap samen. Je bouwt een vertrouwensband op, durft duidelijk te zijn en zet jouw vakkennis in om te bepalen wanneer je ondersteunt en wanneer je ruimte geeft. Zo help je bewoners om meer grip te krijgen op hun dagelijks leven en eigen keuzes te maken.

Wat krijg je van ons?

  • Een contract voor onbepaalde tijd met een salaris volgens FWG 35 (€ 2.649 tot € 3.708 o.b.v. 36 uur).
  • ORT, pensioen, vakantiegeld en eindejaarsuitkering volgens de CAO Gehandicaptenzorg. Vakantiegeld en eindejaarsuitkering kun je ook maandelijks laten uitbetalen.
  • Een repeterend rooster, zodat je ruim van tevoren weet waar je aan toe bent.
  • Ondersteuning om fysiek en mentaal gezond te blijven, met onder andere coaching, fitness en mindfulness.
  • Ruimte om je te ontwikkelen met scholing gericht op ouder wordende bewoners, belevingsgerichte zorg, ADL en verpleegtechnische handelingen.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent duidelijk en geduldig en ziet wat bewoners zelf kunnen. Je biedt houvast wanneer dat nodig is en geeft ruimte wanneer iemand een volgende stap zelf kan zetten.

Wat je verder meebrengt:

  • Een mbo-3 of mbo-4 diploma in Zorg & Welzijn.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
  • Affiniteit met ouder wordende mensen met een verstandelijke beperking en het stimuleren van zelfstandigheid.
  • Je hebt ervaring met ADL en verpleegtechnische handelingen, zoals stomazorg en epilepsiezorg, of bent bereid deze vaardigheden te leren. Je bent minimaal twee diensten per week beschikbaar en kunt werken in vroege, late, dag-, weekend- en slaapdiensten. Je rapporteert zorgvuldig in het ECD.
