Vacature gehandicaptenzorg: Begeleider (20 uur per week) – FWG 40 (€ 2.951,- tot € 3.980,-) – Stadskanaal

Kun jij rustig blijven bij complex gedrag en makkelijk schakelen tussen EMB, MVG en LVB? Als Begeleider combineer je intensieve begeleiding met zorg en bouw je mee aan een locatie in ontwikkeling.

Jouw locatie

Je komt te werken op twee dagbesteding locaties van Philadelphia; Villa Vlinder en Maarswerk/Jumbo in Stadskanaal. Op Villa Vlinder komen 18 kinderen en jongeren verdeeld over twee groepen. De doelgroep bestaat uit mensen met EMB, MVG en LVB, met intensieve zorg en begeleiding. Maarswerk/Jumbo richt zich vooral op LVB en heeft ongeveer 27 cliënten. De locatie is volop in ontwikkeling en biedt ruimte om mee te bouwen aan de toekomst.

Jouw team

Als Begeleider werk je in twee kleinschalige teams. Het team van Villa Vlinder bestaat uit ongeveer vijf tot zes medewerkers en Maarswerk/Jumbo uit ongeveer vier medewerkers. Je werkt zelfstandig, deelt observaties met collega's en stemt je begeleiding af binnen beide teams.

Jouw uitdaging

Op Villa Vlinder observeer je gedrag, herken je signalen en handel je rustig wanneer spanning, automutilatie, agressie of escalaties ontstaan. Je schakelt tussen intensieve begeleiding en zorg en weet wanneer je nabij moet zijn en wanneer je juist ruimte geeft. Bij Villa Vlinder draag je daarnaast bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de locatie.

Bij Maarswerk/Jumbo begeleid je mensen met LVB bij hun ontwikkeling, zelfstandigheid en deelname aan de maatschappij. Je stimuleert cliënten om hun talenten te ontdekken, vaardigheden te ontwikkelen en zoveel mogelijk zelf de regie te nemen. Daarbij kijk je naar wat iemand wél kan en welke ondersteuning nodig is om verder te groeien. Je helpt cliënten om structuur aan te brengen in hun dag, samen te werken en sociale contacten op te bouwen.

De afwisseling vraagt dat je zelfstandig beslissingen durft te nemen en achteraf kritisch kijkt naar je eigen handelen. Je probeert gedrag te begrijpen, past je communicatie aan en stimuleert zelfstandigheid waar dat mogelijk is. Juist daarin komen liefde, lef en meesterschap samen. Liefde betekent dat je de persoon en diens signalen leert kennen, lef dat je verantwoordelijkheid neemt en durft te handelen en meesterschap dat je jouw vakkennis inzet om passende begeleiding te bieden.

Wat krijg je van ons?

Bij Philadelphia krijg je de ruimte om het beste uit jezelf en uit je werk te halen. Daarom bieden wij naast alles uit de CAO Gehandicaptenzorg ook extra’s.

  • Een tijdelijk contract voor 20 uur per week, met een salaris van € 2.951,- tot € 3.980,- bij 36 uur per week, FWG 40. Inschaling is afhankelijk van je opleiding en ervaring.
  • ORT bij onregelmatige diensten, vakantiegeld, een eindejaarsuitkering en pensioen. Vakantiegeld en eindejaarsuitkering kunnen ook maandelijks worden uitbetaald.
  • Trainingen en ontwikkeling die aansluiten bij jouw werk, zoals Triple-C, Active Support, PRE en BHV.
  • Een afwisselende functie waarin je ervaring opdoet met EMB, MVG en LVB en op twee verschillende locaties werkt.

Wie ben jij?

Je bent rustig, stabiel en zelfstandig. Je kijkt voorbij gedrag, herkent kleine signalen en kunt schakelen tussen intensieve begeleiding, ADL-zorg en het stimuleren van zelfstandigheid.

Wat je verder meebrengt:

  • Je hebt minimaal een afgerond relevant mbo-4 diploma binnen Zorg & Welzijn.
  • Je kunt duidelijk communiceren, goed observeren en je bevindingen professioneel rapporteren.
  • Je kunt zelfstandig werken en bent handig met digitale systemen zoals het ECD.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met mensen met een verstandelijke beperking en intensieve begeleidingsvragen.
