Job Summary

Manage daily HR operations to support recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee record management for a landscaping company, ensuring adherence to Singapore employment regulations and efficient work pass administration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and process mandatory core trade training and course applications for foreign workers and gardeners to ensure compliance and workforce readiness
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, appointment letters, and HR documentation to support new hires and ongoing employee administration
  • Assist recruitment and onboarding of gardeners, landscape workers, drivers, and operational staff to meet company staffing needs
  • Maintain and update accurate employee records, attendance, leave, and personnel files to support payroll and compliance
  • Administer work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and related MOM matters to ensure legal workforce status
  • Monitor employees’ medical examinations, training certifications, and work pass expiry dates to maintain compliance and safety standards
  • Compile attendance and overtime records to support accurate payroll preparation
  • Prepare reports, letters, and administrative correspondence to facilitate effective HR communication
  • Liaise with government agencies, vendors, and external service providers to coordinate HR-related processes and services
  • Handle sensitive employee information confidentially and professionally

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in the landscape or construction industry
  • Proficient in PC literacy and MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment regulations
  • Familiarity with work pass application processes
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Able to commence work as soon as possible
