Job Description

Ready to level up your career?

Playtech Managed Services is looking for proactive DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the development, automation, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational support of the PTMS platform and its associated services.

Your influential mission. You will...

  • Build tools, scripts and integrations that automate operational and business processes and connect databases, APIs and internal or external systems.
  • Build and support infrastructure in cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and on-prem. Implement IaC (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible).
  • Design, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for PTMS applications, automating build, testing, packaging, deployment and configuration.
  • Manage releases and deployments across Development, UAT/Test and Production, and make sure every deployment is repeatable, traceable and documented.
  • Look after PTMS environments and infrastructure, including configuration, service accounts and secrets, and support upgrades, migrations and environment changes.
  • Monitor applications, jobs and integrations using effective logging and alerts, so critical failures and service degradation are caught early.
  • Investigate production incidents, find root causes and put permanent fixes in place, and take part in incident management and post-incident reviews.
  • Apply secure development and DevOps practices, including secure secrets management, least-privilege access, vulnerability remediation and full auditability of changes.
  • Work closely with developers, infrastructure, database, security, QA and business teams, keep the technical documentation up to date, and look for new ways to replace manual work with automation.

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

  • Work confidently with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker and Kubernetes, and have hands-on experience with automated build and deployment.
  • Experience with cloud and DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps or GitLab pipelines, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell or Bash, plus experience with Microsoft Graph API, Selenium/browser automation and SQL Server fundamentals.
  • Have an automation-first mindset and enjoy taking full ownership of applications, from development through to production.
  • Understand application logging, monitoring and alerting, and know how to use them to keep systems reliable and troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Know authentication, authorization, certificates, service accounts and secrets management, and pay close attention to security and data quality.
  • Have hands-on experience with REST APIs and data formats such as JSON and XML, and with integrating enterprise applications and automating operational workflows.
  • Bring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and investigate complex production issues systematically.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage multiple technical priorities, and write clear technical and operational documentation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
