Senior Accounting Manager Location: Makati Work Setup: Onsite Schedule: Monday–Friday (Compressed Work Week)

Job Description

The Senior Accounting is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with Philippine accounting and tax regulations. This role supports month-end closing, supervises junior accounting staff, and assists management in financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions
  • Prepare and review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations, tax filings, and statutory requirements
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
  • Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior accounting staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • CPA license is an advantage
  • At least 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
