Role Overview

The Senior Client Services Officer supports institutional banking clients by delivering high-quality service and resolving client inquiries efficiently. The role focuses on providing timely responses, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have experience in client servicing within financial services or banking, along with strong communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Support

  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Handle inbound and outbound client interactions to support service delivery and engagement.
  • Build strong client relationships through a proactive, customer-focused approach.
  • Educate clients on transaction banking products and services.

Operations & Process Management

  • Ensure accurate execution of client requests and verification processes.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of client interactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, service standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client data and banking information.
  • Escalate and report potential risk or operational issues when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in financial services, banking operations, or client servicing roles.
  • Knowledge of transaction banking products such as Cash Management or Trade Finance is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client requests and work in a fast-paced environment.
