Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Fund Accounting professional to manage and oversee the accounting and reporting of investment funds. The role involves ensuring accurate investor activity processing, portfolio valuation, compliance with industry standards, and preparation of financial statements, while supporting process improvements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze fund performance, staying abreast of market trends and developments.

• Acquire and maintain expertise in various financial instruments, including equities, bonds, derivatives, FX, mortgages, and futures.

• Apply accounting standards and practices specific to investment management.

• Process and accurately record investor transactions in accordance with fund agreements and internal procedures.

• Reconcile positions and securities to broker statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Price portfolios and review valuations in line with fund policies.

• Calculate and review partner allocations, management fees, and performance fees.

• Prepare and review GAAP financial statements and support annual audit processes.

• Establish, monitor, and improve operational processes and KPIs to ensure high-quality service delivery.

• Generate timely reports for internal and client use, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of Fund Accounting experience, preferably within a Fund Administration environment.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP financial statement preparation and partner allocation calculations.
  • Experience with management and performance fee computation and annual audits.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while following established procedures.
