This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to become an integral part of a dynamic business, working closely with the General Counsel and gaining exposure to a broad range of legal, regulatory, corporate and strategic matters.

The Role

As Legal Counsel, you will work directly with and report to the General Counsel, providing comprehensive legal support across the Company's operations.

You will be involved in virtually all aspects of the legal function, from day-to-day commercial and corporate matters to complex regulatory issues, strategic projects and cross-border transactions.

The successful candidate will be a versatile, proactive and business-oriented lawyer, comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and taking ownership of legal matters with appropriate guidance from the General Counsel.

This is a highly visible role with significant opportunities for professional development, increased responsibility and direct involvement in key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Contracts & Business Support

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, distribution, licensing, technology, SaaS, confidentiality and partnership agreements.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to business teams, including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product.
  • Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks while facilitating business objectives.
  • Support negotiations with domestic and international customers, suppliers and strategic partners.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Support the General Counsel in navigating the regulatory framework applicable to healthcare technologies.
  • Assist with matters relating to product compliance, regulatory obligations and interactions with competent authorities, in collaboration with relevant internal teams and external advisers.
  • Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR and HIPAA compliance, particularly in relation to health data and technology-driven products and services.
  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of internal policies, compliance procedures and risk management frameworks.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the business.

Corporate, Governance & Strategic Matters

  • Support corporate governance, company secretarial matters and the preparation of corporate documentation, resolutions and approvals.
  • Assist the General Counsel with corporate structuring, financing arrangements, investment transactions, due diligence and other strategic initiatives.
  • Provide legal support for international expansion, new market entry and the establishment of commercial partnerships.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel across jurisdictions, as required.

Intellectual Property, Technology & Innovation

  • Assist in the protection and management of the Company's intellectual property, including trademarks, patents, software and proprietary technology, working with specialist advisers where appropriate.
  • Review and negotiate intellectual property, licensing, software development and technology-related agreements.
  • Support legal matters relating to product development, innovation, digital health and emerging technologies.

General Legal & Operational Support

  • Act as a key legal point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing timely, pragmatic and solution-oriented advice.
  • Support the General Counsel across the full range of legal matters affecting the business, including employment, disputes, insurance, procurement and other operational issues.
  • Manage legal matters and projects independently, escalating significant risks and complex issues as appropriate.
  • Liaise with external lawyers, regulators and other professional advisers.
  • Contribute to the development of efficient legal processes, templates, contract management practices and internal legal resources as the Company continues to grow.
  • Assist the General Counsel in prioritising legal risks and building a scalable, business-enabling legal function.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Law degree from a recognised university and qualification to practise law in Greece, and preferably in the US.
  • 5–6 years of post-qualification legal experience, gained in a reputable law firm, an in-house legal department or a combination of both.
  • Strong experience in commercial contracts, corporate law and general business advisory work.
  • Experience advising technology, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated businesses would be a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to cross-border transactions, international commercial arrangements or multinational business environments would be beneficial.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and legal analytical skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Commercial mindset: Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical and actionable advice.
  • Versatility: Willingness and ability to work across different areas of law, including matters outside one's immediate specialisation.
  • Ownership and accountability: Confidence to manage matters independently while exercising sound judgement on when to seek guidance or escalate issues.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach: Ability to anticipate legal risks, propose solutions and help the business move forward.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • Attention to detail and prioritisation: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Collaborative attitude: A team player who is equally comfortable handling hands-on legal work and contributing to broader strategic discussions.
  • High integrity and discretion: Sound professional judgement and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.

Benefits

  • The opportunity to join a rapidly scaling health technology company with an international outlook.
  • A broad and intellectually stimulating role with exposure to diverse legal and business matters.
  • Direct collaboration with the General Counsel, offering close mentorship, meaningful responsibility and involvement in strategic decision-making.
  • The opportunity to help shape and develop the legal function as the Company grows.
  • A collaborative, innovative and entrepreneurial working environment.
  • Competitive remuneration and benefits commensurate with experience.
  • Strong opportunities for professional growth and career progression.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
