Within the Finance Team and reporting to our Subsidiary Accounting Lead, you will play a key role in the day-to-day accounting and financial management of our international subsidiaries. As a key point of contact for local accounting firms and operational teams, you will contribute to the smooth running of accounting operations, month-end closings, reporting, reconciliations, and cash management.

You will thrive in this role if you want to:

2. Manage reporting and external accounting relationships

- Prepare monthly reporting extracts and provide the necessary supporting documentation to our external accounting firms in the UK and US.

- Act as the main point of contact for local accounting firms, coordinating requests and ensuring timely and accurate communication.

- Respond to accounting queries and provide the information required to support local accounting and reporting processes.

3. Support treasury, cash management and retail operations

- Execute transfers to the parent company in line with the Group’s cash management plan.

- Monitor incoming and outgoing cash flows and ensure the proper follow-up of cash movements across the subsidiaries.

- Maintain regular communication with Store Managers to ensure the proper reconciliation of cash and card transactions.

- Reconcile store sales collections recorded through POS systems with corresponding bank statements.

- Support operational teams from an accounting perspective during new store openings, helping ensure that financial and administrative processes are properly implemented.

4. Strengthen cross-functional collaboration

- Work closely with Financial Analysts on accounting and financial queries, as well as modification requests.

- Act as a key point of contact for operational teams across Europe on accounting, tax, and administrative matters.

- Build strong relationships with Finance and operational stakeholders to facilitate the smooth flow of information and support the Maison’s international development.

You will excel in this role if:

- You hold a higher education degree with a specialization in Accounting or Finance and have at least 3 years of professional experience in general accounting.

- You have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, General Ledger processes, account reconciliations, and cash management.

- You are proficient in Excel and comfortable working with digital tools. Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

- You are rigorous, autonomous, and highly organized, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
