A Valora é uma plataforma de precificação dinâmica para o transporte rodoviário de passageiros. Transformamos dados em inteligência aplicada, capturando preços de concorrentes, processando vendas em tempo real e recalculando automaticamente o preço das viagens.

Buscamos uma pessoa Analytics Engineer para atuar na área de dados, contribuindo com a evolução da nossa estrutura de data warehouse em BigQuery, modelada com dbt.

A área de dados está passando por uma reconstrução: saímos de uma estrutura baseada principalmente em dashboards de Power BI para um warehouse organizado em camadas de staging, dimensões, fatos e relatórios, com testes automatizados, contracts e CI.

Hoje temos 54 models dbt em produção, mais de 189 testes no pipeline e 5 camadas no warehouse. Um dos principais desafios da posição será trabalhar com aproximadamente 500 milhões de capturas históricas de preços de concorrentes. Você fará parte de um time pequeno e bastante próximo, com trabalho pareado, troca constante de raciocínio e participação direta nas decisões técnicas. O CTO atua de forma hands-on no código.

Atividades

  • Desenvolver e evoluir modelos de dados utilizando SQL, dbt e BigQuery
  • Construir e manter modelos dimensionais, trabalhando com fatos, dimensões, grãos, chaves e relacionamentos
  • Levar aproximadamente 500 milhões de capturas históricas de preços de concorrentes para o BigQuery
  • Definir a modelagem e o pipeline de dados para os dados históricos de preços
  • Construir o painel de análise dos preços praticados pelo mercado, provavelmente utilizando Power BI
  • Desenvolver e manter pipelines de ingestão e transformação de dados
  • Trabalhar com cargas incrementais, particionamento e clustering, considerando custo e performance do warehouse
  • Criar e manter testes automatizados e garantir a qualidade dos modelos de dados
  • Participar de code reviews, pull requests e demais práticas de engenharia de software
  • Trabalhar em conjunto com tecnologia e produto para entender e definir regras de negócio antes da implementação
  • Participar de sessões de pareamento e das discussões técnicas do time
  • Contribuir para a evolução da arquitetura e das práticas de engenharia de dados da Valora
  • SQL avançado, incluindo window functions, CTEs, agregações e capacidade de ler e depurar queries complexas
  • Experiência com modelagem dimensional, incluindo fatos, dimensões, definição de grão, chaves e relacionamentos
  • Experiência ou boa familiaridade com engenharia de software aplicada a dados, incluindo Git, pull requests, revisão de código e testes
  • Conhecimento de data warehouses colunares, especialmente conceitos de particionamento, clustering, cargas incrementais, custo e performance
  • Python para ingestão de dados e automação
  • Capacidade de compreender e discutir regras de negócio antes de definir uma solução técnica
  • Boa comunicação e capacidade de trabalhar de forma colaborativa e pareada
  • Abertura para receber e trocar direcionamento técnico
