A Valora é uma plataforma de precificação dinâmica para o transporte rodoviário de passageiros. Nossos parceiros são empresas de ônibus que vendem milhões de passagens por ano, e o preço de cada assento afeta diretamente sua rentabilidade.

Buscamos uma pessoa Desenvolvedora Backend para atuar na evolução da nossa plataforma, trabalhando principalmente com Python e Django. O backend principal é uma aplicação Django 5.2 em Python 3.12, responsável por grande parte do fluxo de precificação das viagens. É um sistema maduro, com aproximadamente 86 mil linhas de Python, 395 migrations, 123 arquivos de teste e 74 tasks Celery. Boa parte do trabalho envolve ler código existente, formular hipóteses, investigar problemas e alterar o sistema com segurança. A cobertura de testes é consistente e a suíte de regressão faz parte do fluxo padrão de desenvolvimento.

Um dos principais desafios da posição será construir, junto com o time, o novo motor de estratégias de precificação, incluindo a criação automática de viagens. A missão envolve modelar regras de ativação, serviços e rotas, períodos de vigência e conflitos entre diferentes regras. Você fará parte de um time pequeno e bastante próximo, com trabalho pareado, troca constante de raciocínio e participação direta nas decisões técnicas. O CTO atua de forma hands-on no código.

Atividades

  • Desenvolver e evoluir funcionalidades de backend utilizando Python e Django
  • Trabalhar na construção do novo motor de estratégias de precificação
  • Implementar regras de negócio relacionadas à ativação de estratégias, serviços, rotas e períodos de vigência
  • Desenvolver a criação automática de viagens
  • Modelar e evoluir entidades, relacionamentos e regras utilizando Django ORM
  • Construir e otimizar QuerySets, utilizando recursos como select_related e prefetch_related
  • Criar e gerenciar migrations do Django
  • Desenvolver e manter APIs utilizando Django REST Framework
  • Trabalhar com ViewSets, serializers aninhados, custom actions e permissões
  • Desenvolver e manter tarefas assíncronas utilizando Celery
  • Criar tarefas idempotentes, observáveis e com políticas de retry
  • Desenvolver e manter testes automatizados e atuar sobre a suíte de regressão
  • Trabalhar com PostgreSQL, incluindo modelagem e otimização de queries em tabelas de grande volume
  • Investigar problemas em código existente, formular hipóteses e implementar soluções com segurança
  • Participar de code reviews, pull requests e discussões técnicas
  • Trabalhar em sessões de pareamento e na construção conjunta de soluções
  • Contribuir para decisões técnicas e para a evolução da arquitetura do backend
  • Trabalhar em conjunto com o time para compreender regras de negócio e transformá-las em soluções técnicas
  • Experiência profissional sólida com Python e desenvolvimento backend
  • Experiência com Django e Django ORM
  • Conhecimento de QuerySets, select_related, prefetch_related e migrations
