The posting

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a Systems Administrator or Engineer looking to advance their technical expertise in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work with Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity solutions, and modern infrastructure technologies while taking ownership of technical projects, supporting client environments, and delivering reliable IT solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically driven professional who wants to take on greater responsibility, work on complex infrastructure projects, and develop expertise in cloud and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Lead infrastructure, migration, and modernization projects.
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices and security controls.
  • Support Microsoft Intune, Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues.
  • Participate in security assessments and remediation efforts.
  • Work directly with clients to understand requirements and implement technology solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and serve as an escalation resource.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT infrastructure and internal processes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or systems engineering.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and switching.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to learn and work with new customer applications and technologies.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and security solutions.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Previous experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as Security+, AZ-104, AZ-500, or equivalent.
