Je komt terecht bij een van de wereldleiders in industriële Automatisering – een organisatie met meer dan 12.000 medewerkers wereldwijd, maar met een sterke, lokale KMO-spirit in Nederland. Hun producten vormen de onzichtbare ruggengraat van slimmere, veiligere en efficiëntere industriële processen, van logistiek en food & beverage tot automotive en farma.

Jouw rol

Als Portfolio Manager ben jij het commercieel en technisch geweten van een breed productportfolio: fotoelectrische, inductieve, capacitieve, ultrasonische sensoren, afstandssensoren, optische systemen en connectiviteitsoplossingen.

Je werkt samen met Product Managers om te bepalen welke oplossingen het meeste potentieel hebben bij welke klanten. Vervolgens vertaal je dat naar een concrete go-to-market strategie en help je de Sales Engineers in de regio om die te activeren.

Dit is geen reactieve salesfunctie. Jij bent de aandrijver van business development – je genereert leads, bouwt relaties en zorgt dat de organisatie de juiste prioriteiten stelt.

Wat je doet

  • Marktanalyse en klantsegmentatie: where to play, how to win
  • Business development in samenwerking met Sales Engineers
  • Strategische input voor portfolio lifecycle en productprioritisering
  • Technische en commerciële ondersteuning richting klanten en interne teams
  • Markt- en klantinzichten vertalen naar concrete groeikansen
  • Nauwe samenwerking met Sales, Marketing en Product Management (Europe SouthWest)

Wat je meebrengt

  • Ervaring in B2B business development, portfolio management of technische sales
  • Affiniteit met industriële automatisering en sensortechnologie
  • Strategisch denker met commerciële drive en klantgerichte aanpak
  • Je behandelt je regio als je eigen onderneming
  • Vloeiend Nederlands, goede kennis van het Engels
  • Bereidheid om regelmatig klanten te bezoeken door heel Nederland
