Sales Engineer Technisch Onderwijs – België & Luxemburg

Over de functie

Scholen willen hun technische klassen vernieuwen. Bedrijven willen hun eigen opleidingscentrum opzetten. Ze hebben een partner nodig die weet wat leerlingen en technici nodig hebben om echt aan de slag te kunnen. Dat ben jij.

Je werkt voor een internationaal technologiebedrijf dat opleidingsmateriaal maakt voor technische richtingen. Je bent de enige hiervoor in België, met een Nederlands team van zes mensen als back-up.

Wat verkoop je?

Volledige lesopstellingen voor technische opleidingen: de machines en onderdelen om mee te oefenen, de software om ze te programmeren en het lesmateriaal erbij. Leerlingen leren er automatisering, pneumatica en mechatronica mee. Het gaat dus niet om schoolboeken, borden of grote schermen, maar om technische opstellingen waar leerlingen zelf mee aan het werk gaan.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Scholen en hogescholen in België en Luxemburg adviseren en hen de juiste opstellingen en software aanbieden
  • Bedrijven adviseren die een eigen opleidingscentrum willen opstarten of uitbreiden
  • Zelf nieuwe klanten zoeken en relaties opbouwen met directies, leerkrachten en opleidingsverantwoordelijken
  • Samenwerken met collega's uit Sales, het team in Nederland en de specialisten automatisering

Het zijn lange trajecten met meerdere betrokkenen. Je bouwt dus relaties op die jaren meegaan, en je bepaalt zelf hoe je je markt aanpakt.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Technisch geschoold, interesse in het technisch onderwijs of industriële automatisering
  • Commerciële drive: je zoekt zelf nieuwe klanten en geeft advies op maat
  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands, Frans en Engels, mondeling en schriftelijk
  • Communicatief, klantgericht en zelfstandig, en toch een echte teamspeler
  • Bereid om te reizen in België en Luxemburg
  • Ervaring in het onderwijs is een pluspunt, maar niet verplicht
