Account Manager Meet- en Regeltechniek

Waar ga je werken?

Je gaat aan de slag bij een internationale marktleider in procesautomatisering met een sterke reputatie in industriële meet- en regeltechniek. Dit bedrijf heeft decennialange ervaring en bedient klanten in de voedings- en drankenindustrie, chemie, olie & gas en andere procesomgevingen. Je komt terecht in een innovatieve organisatie die bekendstaat om hoogwaardige technische oplossingen en een klantgerichte aanpak. Wat ga je doen?

Als Sales Engineer verbind je jouw technische expertise met commerciële flair. Je adviseert je klanten over sensoren en procesinstrumentatie (flow-, niveau-, druk- en analysetechniek) om hun processen te optimaliseren.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je focust ongeveer 50% van je tijd op prospectie van nieuwe klanten en 50% op farming bij bestaande klanten (onderhouden en uitbouwen van klantrelaties)
  • Plannen en uitvoeren van klantbezoeken om hun behoeften te analyseren en passende meet- en regeltechnische oplossingen voor te stellen
  • Opstellen van offertes en het opvolgen van aanvragen, in nauwe samenwerking met de binnendienst en technische specialisten, om klanten de beste oplossing te bieden
  • Uitbouwen van langetermijnrelaties: je voorziet bestaande klanten van uitstekende service, adviseert hen bij technische vragen en spot kansen voor cross- en upselling
  • Je blijft op de hoogte van nieuwe ontwikkelingen in meet- en regeltechniek en de procesindustrie, zodat je klanten steeds up-to-date en deskundig advies geeft

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Technische opleiding: Bachelor of Master in een technische richting (bijv. elektromechanica, automatisering) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Ervaring: Enkele jaren ervaring in een technische commerciële rol (buitendienst sales, accountmanagement of business development) is een plus
  • Competenties: Communicatief sterk, commercieel gedreven en klantgericht je kan op verschillende niveaus overtuigen en relaties opbouwen
  • Proactiviteit: Je durft te netwerken en haalt energie uit het binnenhalen van nieuwe klanten
  • Talen: Goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels
  • Mobiliteit: Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B en bereid om regelmatig te rijden binnen Oost- en West-Vlaanderen voor klantenbezoeken (je woont idealiter in deze regio)
