What Were Looking For:

We are looking for a highly organized and disciplined General Manager Operations to work closely with the Country Director and senior leadership. In this role, you will act as the operational backbone of the companyensuring internal accountability, cross-departmental coordination, process follow-through, and smooth day-to-day operations. You will work across HR, Project, Delivery, Admin, Finance, and other teams to ensure leadership decisions are implemented effectively and nothing slips through the cracks.

This role is ideal for someone with a BPO, project coordination, or internal operations background who thrives in a structured, task-oriented environment and is hungry to grow into a strategic leadership role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Work closely with the Country Director and leadership team to translate company objectives into actionable plans
  • Track and manage company-level OKRs, departmental goals, and key strategic initiatives
  • Ensure alignment across teams by driving structured planning cycles, maintaining goal visibility, and holding owners accountable
  • Proactively identify roadblocks to strategic execution and flag gaps in coordination, delivery, or prioritization

2. Operational Efficiency

  • Drive internal process discipline across departments by implementing and refining SOPs, playbooks, and workflows
  • Monitor recurring operations, spot inefficiencies, and propose improvements to reduce friction and increase speed
  • Set up and manage tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, dashboards, trackers) to bring visibility and structure across all teams
  • Own internal hygieneensuring timely reporting, documentation, and task closure across the company

3. Executive Support

  • Act as the execution partner to the Country Director by following through on key decisions, tracking commitments, and managing leadership bandwidth
  • Prepare internal communication drafts, presentations, review briefs, and planning documents
  • Manage the rhythm of internal meetings (leadership huddles, department reviews, OKR check-ins) to keep momentum across initiatives
  • Handle confidential or high-priority internal matters with discretion and integrity

4. Culture & Accountability

  • Promote a culture of structure, follow-through, and ownership across the organization
  • Reinforce internal values through consistency in execution and responsiveness
  • Build an environment where employees are empowered to solve problems independently while adhering to internal standards
  • Act as a culture custodiansupporting onboarding, internal training alignment, and performance hygiene

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the internal liaison between HR, Delivery, Admin, Finance, IT, and other support functions
  • Ensure information flows smoothly across departments and leadership always has access to updated insights
  • Represent leadership in operational sync-ups when needed, ensuring the right expectations are set and delivered
  • Manage dependencies between teams, ensuring that cross-functional coordination is timely and frictionless

6. Project Management

  • Own internal projects from initiation to completionwhether strategic, operational, or process-oriented
  • Build and maintain project timelines, resource plans, communication logs, and progress updates
  • Anticipate risks, escalate issues early, and drive outcomes without constant oversight
  • Track internal initiatives to closureensuring deliverables meet agreed timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations

Who You Are

  • Exceptionally structured, punctual, and organized
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, but able to bring clarity and execution
  • Excellent with time and task managementpersonally and organizationally
  • A problem-solver with a figure it out and finish it mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, or any relevant field
  • 5/6 years of experience in operations, coordination, or BPO/process roles
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Trello, ClickUp, Notion, Airtable, Slack
  • Bonus: Experience working in fast-paced, remote-first or startup environments
