Bij Quatra zoeken we een Financial & Business Controller die terug- en vooruit kijkt en met inzichten komt waar de business iets mee kan. Iemand die initiatief neemt en mee onderneemt. Die niet alleen de cijfers begrijpt, maar ook de mensen en processen erachter. Iets voor jou?

Jouw rol

Als Financial & Business Controller ben je verantwoordelijk voor de financiële stuurinformatie van Quatra Nederland en Quatra Duitsland. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Country Manager en bent een vaste sparringpartner voor het Leadership Team.

Het Finance team in Nederland bestaat uit vijf mensen, waaronder jij. Een groot deel van de Finance-functie binnen Quatra International is gecentraliseerd op het hoofdkantoor in Lokeren. Jij bent de lokale financiële schakel: degene die weet wat er speelt in de Nederlandse en Duitse operatie en dat vertaalt naar bruikbare inzichten voor het management.

Je werkt nauw samen met de Finance Manager, het Group Finance Team in Lokeren en de CFO. De Duitse activiteiten vallen ook onder jouw scope; je schakelt daarvoor remote met de betrokken collega's. Geen directe reports, wel veel contact dwars door de organisatie heen. Je werkt vanuit Amsterdam en reist periodiek naar het hoofdkantoor in Lokeren, waar je het bredere finance team en de Group Controller ontmoet.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Opstellen, analyseren en door-ontwikkelen van managementrapportages en dashboards die het Leadership Team daadwerkelijk helpen sturen;
  • Analyseren van financiële resultaten, KPI's en operationele prestaties en signaleren wat er achter de cijfers speelt;
  • Coördineren van budgetten, forecasts en maandelijkse opvolging in nauwe afstemming met Group Finance in Lokeren;
  • Onderbouwen van investeringsvoorstellen, businesscases en strategische keuzes met heldere analyses;
  • Verbeteren van financiële processen en rapportages, ook als dat betekent dat je bestaande werkwijzen ter discussie stelt;
  • Schakelen tussen de Nederlandse operatie, de Duitse activiteiten en het internationale Group Finance team.

Wie zoeken wij?

Je bent analytisch sterk en pragmatisch. Je durft kritische vragen te stellen, ook aan managers en directie, en laat je niet snel wegpraten. Maar je weet ook verbinding te houden. Je staat stevig in je schoenen zonder het contact met de mensen eromheen te verliezen.

Je herkent jezelf in het volgende:

  • Je zoekt actief de verbinding met collega's in de operatie, omdat je weet dat de beste inzichten daar ontstaan;
  • Je bent zelfstandig genoeg om in een gedecentraliseerde setting je weg te vinden en schakelt makkelijk met het internationale team in Lokeren;
  • Je voelt je thuis bij een no-nonsense bedrijf waar korte lijnen en daadkracht meer zeggen dan uitgebreide presentaties.
  • Verder beschik je over:
  • Een afgeronde WO-opleiding in Finance, Accountancy of Bedrijfseconomie; HBO met aantoonbare seniorervaring is bespreekbaar;
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als Controller of in een vergelijkbare rol; een eerste ervaring in audit is een pré;
  • Het vermogen om cijfers te vertalen naar duidelijke adviezen en concrete keuzes;
  • Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels; Duits is een pré;
  • Ervaring met Odoo en/of BI-tools zoals QlikSense is een pré.

Waarom Quatra?

Quatra is een internationale snelgroeiende groep, gespecialiseerd in het inzamelen en recyclen van gebruikte frituurolie. Geen marketingverhaal: duurzaamheid is hier het verdienmodel. We verwerken jaarlijks meer dan 250.000 ton UCO tot grondstof voor hernieuwbare brandstoffen, waaronder Sustainable Aviation Fuel, en opereren vanuit 10 landen met ruim 250.000 klanten in horeca, catering, industrie en scheepvaart. In Nederland bouwen we naast de klassieke inzamelactiviteiten aan een groeiende trading-operatie waarbij we wereldwijd volumes aankopen en via ons Europese netwerk vermarkten.

Als Financial & Business Controller werk je dicht op de besluitvorming. Je analyses landen bij het Leadership Team en je vertaalt wat er centraal is opgebouwd naar de Nederlandse praktijk. Geen dikke laag management tussen jou en de impact van je werk.
