This role is based out of our London office.

As Staff Growth Manager for English-Speaking Markets on Reddit’s International Growth team, you will develop and scale ecosystem-growth strategies across priority markets, including the US, UK and Australia.

You will identify where user demand and community supply are misaligned, prioritize the topics and verticals with the greatest potential, and help more communities thrive, while translating ecosystem growth into measurable user impact.

This is a highly cross-functional, influence-led role. You will not directly own every community intervention. Instead, you will work across XFN teams to align priorities, coordinate execution and bring together the appropriate levers to address the ecosystem challenges. You will turn successful interventions into repeatable cross-market playbooks; and help reduce reliance on manual growth mechanisms over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Ecosystem Growth Playbook: Develop and deploy repeatable strategies that help priority communities reach and sustain Thriving status across the US, UK, Australia. Identify which interventions can scale consistently and where market- or vertical-specific adaptation is required.
  • Growth Operations: Design, launch and scale new pilots aimed at strengthening Reddit’s ecosystem of users, communities and contributors. Use the results to make clear scale, iterate or stop decisions and replicate successful approaches beyond the original test.
  • Cross-Community Orchestration: Coordinate interventions across Community and cross-functional teams to address the constraints limiting ecosystem growth. Bring together the appropriate specialists and channels to close moderator coverage, creator acquisition and content supply gaps, with clear ownership and shared success measures.
  • Measurement and Learning: Define success metrics and evaluation plans that distinguish intervention-driven impact from seasonality and underlying demand. Assess whether Thriving progression produces sustained contribution, engagement and downstream DAU impact, and translate findings into future investment decisions.
  • Productization: Partner with Product and adjacent teams to translate successful manual interventions into scalable capabilities that accelerate community growth and reduce long-term reliance on high-touch support.
  • Internal Advocacy: Serve as the strategic point of contact for ecosystem-growth opportunities across English-speaking markets. Turn data and community insights into clear recommendations, build alignment across Community, Product, Marketing, Sales, Data Science, and advocate for priority verticals and investments with audiences at different levels of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in user growth, community growth, product operations or market expansion, with a demonstrated track record of executing growth programs at scale.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, strong execution skills and the ability to independently move from ambiguous opportunities to structured plans.
  • A strong blend of operational, growth, data, and community/content expertise.
  • Experience developing strategies across multiple markets, verticals or user ecosystems rather than operating within a single program or channel.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, with proficiency in Excel modeling, working knowledge of SQL, and experience creating scalable processes and automations.
  • Passion for combining systems thinking with data analysis to drive impactful decisions.
  • Exceptional internal advocacy and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate complex work across teams without direct authority. Translate evidence into compelling recommendations for operational teams, technical partners and senior leadership.
  • Results-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail and a bias toward execution.
  • Deep understanding of the cultural, media, and digital landscapes of large English-speaking markets.

Benefits:

  • Global Benefit programs that fit your lifestyle, from workspace to professional development to caregiving support
  • Family Planning Support
  • Gender-Affirming Care
  • Mental Health & Coaching Benefits
  • Group Personal Pension Scheme with Employer match
  • Private Medical and Dental Scheme
  • Income Replacement Programs
  • Bike to Work scheme
  • Flexible Vacation & Paid Volunteer Time Off
  • Generous Paid Parental Leave

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
