Job Description
Regions Hospital is hiring an ECMO Coordinator.
Join us as an ECMO Program Coordinator and use your critical care expertise to advance clinical excellence, staff education, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration across our ECMO program.
Join our team as an ECMO Program Coordinator, providing leadership and coordination for the clinical, educational, and operational activities of our ECMO program. Working closely with program leadership, the ECMO Medical Director, Cardiac Perfusionists, and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll support high standards of ECMO care, staff education, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and program development.
Work schedule: FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly), Day Shift
Required Qualifications:
Education, experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care, nursing, or a related healthcare field
- Minimum 2 years of clinical ECMO experience
- Minimum 5 years of critical care experience
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Minnesota Respiratory Therapist License and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification OR Minnesota RN License
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), as needed based on patient population
- ELSO Adult Practitioner Certification (E-AEC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Prior leadership experience with ECMO or critical care programs
- Experience with quality improvement and ELSO reporting
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
