Position Overview We are currently looking for Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Drivers to fulfill a major project in Sturgeon County. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently hauling concrete from our mobile batch plant to the project pour site. Responsibilities
Inspect the truck including checking fluids such as oil and antifreeze before starting in the morning in accordance with pre-trip inspection reports. Fill truck with water by placing rubber hose in tank and prepare drum for concrete. Receive, file, and update delivery tickets as required. Adds various ingredients to load such as fibers, cement, and admixtures as directed. Check slumps and mix of concrete. Drive truck in safe manner to jobs arriving with desired slump. Backup or pulls into jobsites, maneuvering truck in uneven and poor terrain. Place chutes from fender to main chute on rear of truck. Unload concrete in courteous, safe, and efficient manner depending on site conditions. Gets tickets signed and assures he has all jobsite information that is needed. Washes truck with hoses and brush in designated area per contractors. Communicates with dispatcher and batcher via radio system. Refuels truck at end of shift and performs walk around post inspection Occasionally may utilize chipper to clean buildup of concrete in drum. Exterior and interior should also be maintained in clean manner. Participate in company safety program and initiatives, following safe work practices at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid class 3 or class 1 drivers license with air brake endorsement. Clean driving record evidenced by a clean abstract. Ability to work long hours, overtime, and weekends. 1-2 years of prior concrete truck driving experience is preferred.

Work Environment
Drivers work outdoors frequently in various weather conditions on ground that may be rough, muddy, or icy.
There are high noise levels and significant vibration with potential exposure to cement, lime, concrete, dust, diesel fuel, etc. Must be able to sit for long periods. Lifting up to 50lbs at one time is required on a frequent basis.
Hours of Work Hours of work will vary based on project requirements, typically 8–12-hour shifts, and can include a combination of day shift, afternoon shift or night shift. Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
