Then join our journey and become part of the team driving the New Space movement in Europe.

About the Team

Our international and agile team is looking for a motivated individual to serve as Head of Quality (f/m/d). In this key role, you will shape the quality strategy and establish scalable quality processes for highly complex space systems. You will lay the foundation for reliable mass production and play a key role in ensuring that the highest quality, safety, and customer requirements are met in a dynamic New Space environment.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and implement a company-wide quality strategy to standardize and continuously improve complex manufacturing and integration processes.
  • Lead and develop the Quality Department both functionally and disciplinarily, fostering a sustainable culture of quality across the organization.
  • Build and maintain a scalable Quality Management System (QMS), continuously enhancing it and ensuring its effectiveness.
  • Define, establish, and monitor standardized processes, inspection procedures, approvals, and documentation standards for development, manufacturing, and integration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace standards, regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and internal quality policies.
  • Own quality metrics and reporting structures, leveraging data-driven methodologies to analyze, monitor, and improve process quality.
  • Conduct risk assessments and derive preventive and corrective actions to sustainably prevent defects and quality issues.
  • Plan and support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory authority audits, and ensure the successful implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Manage complaint, non-conformance, and change management processes, including root cause analysis and the implementation of sustainable improvement measures.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Project Management to ensure compliant, repeatable, and quality-driven processes.
  • Drive industrialization efforts by establishing standardized processes, digital quality tools, and automated inspection and testing procedures.
  • Represent the Quality Organization to customers, partners, auditors, and regulatory authorities, serving as the central point of contact for all quality-related matters.
  • Support company growth by creating robust and scalable quality processes capable of supporting future production volumes.

Your Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • Several years of experience in senior Quality Management positions within a regulated and technologically demanding industrial environment.
  • Proven expertise in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a technically complex industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop quality strategies and successfully translate them into operational processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality methodologies, quality metrics, risk assessment techniques, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Experience leading and developing teams, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Project Management organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards, regulatory requirements, and audit processes applicable to regulated industries.
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to sustainably foster a quality-driven corporate culture.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

  • Experience in the aerospace industry, ideally within satellite, space, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant aerospace standards, such as EN 9100, ECSS, or comparable frameworks.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
