This hybrid position combines finance, healthcare, research operations, and customer service. You'll help ensure clinical studies are financially sound by tracking revenues and expenses, monitoring patient-related activity, managing payments, and partnering with research and grant management teams.

If you enjoy working with numbers, solving problems, staying organized, and supporting meaningful work that impacts patients, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will: Manage the financial activity of assigned clinical study accounts throughout the life of the study. Track patient-related study activity and help ensure appropriate collection of research funds. Monitor study expenses and process payments as research-related charges are incurred. Reconcile account activity and support accurate financial reporting. Partner with grant managers and research teams to ensure funds are applied appropriately. Review financial transactions and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency. Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve billing, payment, and account issues. Support the financial integrity of clinical research programs that advance cancer treatment and care.

What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in healthcare cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, financial systems, or a related area; or Associate's degree and three years of related experience; or High School Diploma/GED and five years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, clinical research, or academic medical center environments. Experience working with accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), collections, or revenue management processes. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Experience with OnCore or similar clinical research management systems. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting. Basic understanding of medical terminology. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Who Will Be Successful in This Role

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
