  • Lead project teams and the wider group to achieve successful project outcomes, ensuring all objectives are met.
  • Mentor and guide colleagues, promoting a culture of innovation, creativity, and effective delegation within the team.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other team members as part of a committed and skilled group to deliver top-tier solutions.
  • Supervise the creation of detailed design drawings, specifications, site observation reports, schedules, and other project deliverables to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple projects across the group, ensuring engineering solutions are successfully implemented and financially viable.
  • Uphold the highest standards of technical quality, staying updated with industry advancements and best practices.
  • Ensure engineering practices, policies, and services align with clients' best interests and comply with current legislation and building codes.
  • Contribute to delivering profitable projects by monitoring financial performance, resources, and expenditures.
  • Extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering design within the building services and construction sectors.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of building codes and mechanical design principles.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects across various sectors and regions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and good understanding of other MEP building systems, with the ability to investigate and solve technical challenges.
  • Skilled in designing high-performance buildings using electrified design solutions for both adaptive reuse and new projects, with an understanding of how design solutions impact a building's carbon footprint and a project's commercial viability.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation or equivalent professional certification.
  • LEED AP accreditation is preferred, showing a commitment to sustainable design practices.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Revit for detailed design drawings and computational analysis tools like CFD and energy modeling software to develop innovative and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience within an MEP Engineering Consultancy or related field.
  • Expertise in mentoring and coaching junior engineers to foster growth and development within the team.
