About Our Family

We are a warm, active, and intentional family of four living in a beautiful mid-century modern home in Shaker Heights. Life in our household is full and lively, with a spirited preschooler, a newborn baby, and our sweet senior lab mix who is very much part of the family.

We value a home that feels welcoming, organized, and thoughtfully run. We moved into our home in August following an extensive renovation, with projects still underway as we settle in and establish our routines. We've invested in systems to help our household function smoothly, but between ongoing projects, the demands of two young children, and both parents balancing work and family life, the mental load and physical exhaustion are very real. We're looking for a proactive, dependable partner who can confidently take ownership of the day-to-day details, anticipate what needs attention, and lend a hand with childcare. Someone who can work alongside us as part of our family team, helping keep life running smoothly so we can be more present with our children.

We're a family that finds joy in the little things: good food, fresh ingredients, local produce, and bread from our favorite bakery. We prioritize consistent routines, healthy sleep habits, and plenty of outdoor play, no matter the weather. Above all, we're creating a home where our children feel loved, life feels manageable, and the people who support our family feel genuinely valued.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

  • You’re a true morning person who brings calm, capable energy to the start of the day. You arrive ready to go first thing in the morning and set a steady, positive tone for the household.
  • You’re warm, creative, and fully engaged with the children. You enjoy getting down on the floor to play and heading outdoors for an adventure, no matter the weather.
  • You notice what the family needs and step in thoughtfully. Whether that means taking the baby so Mom can have one-on-one time with big sis or quietly managing a laundry pile, you’re comfortable anticipating needs without being micromanaged.
  • You take pride in staying ahead of the small details that keep family life running smoothly. You know ballet tights need to air-dry (and when they need to be ready for class), believe that a diaper bag should always be fully stocked, and understand how essential it is to never run out of a kid’s favorite snacks.
  • You’re reliable, punctual, and consistent. You bring experience with infants and young children, are take safety seriously, and prefer to keep your phone away when you’re caring for little ones.
  • You thrive in a busy, active home. The full daily rhythm of a busy family at the tail end of a home renovation doesn’t rattle you. You prefer roles where no two days are the same, and are ready to roll with the punches.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
