About Our Family
We're a busy, active family of five living in Goodland, Kansas. When you have three kids and own a farm, life moves fast, and the household reflects that energy. We love hosting, we're always on the go, and when we finally get a moment to breathe, we want to spend it together as a family rather than catching up on laundry or dinner prep.
Our home is warm, welcoming, and full of life! With three children and busy schedules, there's always something happening. Between school activities, family commitments, and everyday household responsibilities, we're looking for someone who can help bring a little more ease and organization to our days. We already have wonderful cleaning and childcare support in place, and we're excited to welcome a proactive, organized House Manager who can help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
We have clear systems in place and we're proud of how our home is organized. We're not looking for someone to reinvent the wheel — we're looking for someone who can learn how we do things, keep up with the pace, and step in to carry the load so we can actually be present when it counts.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Operate with a high level of energy and initiative — see what needs to be done and do it without being asked
- Take ownership of the home as if it were your own, going beyond a task list to anticipate what's next
- Communicate proactively and clearly, and adapt to the flow of the household
- Stay focused and self-directed throughout the day, managing time independently and efficiently
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-output environment where no two days look exactly the same
- Follow established household systems precisely while remaining open to improving them over time
- Hold a CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain one (preferred, not required)
