About Our Family

We're a warm, active family with two school-age children and a dog. One parent works from home on writing and personal projects, while the other keeps long, unpredictable hours and travels frequently. Our kids are very involved in dance and other activities, so our schedules stay full!

Our goal is simple: more family time. We're not looking for someone to take over childcare — we love being hands-on with our kids. We just need support around the edges so we can actually be present for the parts that matter most. When we have a moment to be together as a family, it is really important to us that we can be intentional and not use that time to tick items off a to-do list.

We're also in the middle of an exciting transition: we'll be moving into a newly built home in the coming weeks, which means there's a real opportunity to help us get settled, organized, and into a smooth groove from the start. We have weekly house cleaners and will be bringing in a professional organizer to set up some systems post-move. What we need is someone to help maintain those systems, keep things flowing, and make sure that when the day gets busy, nothing falls through the cracks.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're naturally organized, calm under pressure, and the kind of person who notices the little things. You're warm with kids and know how to guide them without taking over; you'll encourage our kids to pack their own lunches and tidy their own spaces, not do it for them. You're professional and clear in how you communicate, you set expectations well, and you know how to work quietly and independently when someone is focused nearby.

On an average day, we are looking for support with managing household systems, laundry, errands, and some child-related tasks. We are at the stage in life where we are actively encouraging our kids to be more independent, so we are looking for someone to guide them to complete their chores and be an active participant in keeping the home running smoothly.

One of our biggest challenges right now is getting our children to and from activities, especially on Friday evenings. We are happy to be flexible with hours and scheduling if you can provide us with at least two Friday evenings of help per month. As needed, more traditional, direct childcare may be necessary.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
