  • Support the preparation of reserve monitoring exhibits, management reports, and actuarial documentation.
  • Perform data reconciliations and investigate data quality issues.
  • Assist actuaries with trend analysis, reserve diagnostics, and ad hoc studies.
  • Document reserving assumptions, methodologies, and analytical results.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Participate in projects aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of reserving processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, reporting, and analytical workflows.
  • Develop and enhance automated tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python or other analytical tools.
  • Support process mapping and documentation initiatives to improve controls and governance.
  • Collaborate with actuarial, finance, claims, and data teams to implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Help evaluate and test new technologies and analytical approaches to support reserving activities.

Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Work closely with reserving actuaries and actuarial leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to team members.
  • Gain exposure to actuarial techniques, reserving methodologies, and reinsurance financial reporting.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
