Business Finance Lead

## Job Summary The Business Finance Lead will serve as a strategic financial partner to SolarSquare’s management team, supporting key initiatives such as financial planning, strategic projects, and data-driven decision-making. This role involves working closely with sales, operations, and design teams to align financial insights with business metrics, ensuring efficient and profitable growth. The ideal candidate will leverage their financial expertise to translate complex data into actionable strategies, helping the company scale sustainably.

## Responsibilities - Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and financial forecasting processes, ensuring optimal resource allocation to support strategic growth initiatives. - Collaborate with department heads to optimize unit economics, monitor project profitability, margins, and operational cost efficiencies. - Translate complex financial data and actuals versus budget variance into clear, actionable insights for the leadership team. - Design and track core business KPIs to monitor sales pipeline health, revenue realization, and early warning signs of financial risks. - Act as a financial bridge across Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to enhance capital efficiency and facilitate scaling. - Develop executive-level financial narratives and automated dashboards to enable rapid, data-backed decision-making by the founders. - Drive cross-functional projects to evaluate new business opportunities and improve internal efficiencies.

## Qualifications - Educational Qualifications: CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA in Finance from Tier 1 institutions. - Technical Skills: - Strong financial analysis and business acumen. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets. - Knowledge of ERP systems. - Experience working with complex datasets and leveraging AI for problem-solving. - Expertise in MIS reporting and dashboard creation. - Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau (preferred).

## Preferred Skills - Experience in strategic financial planning and analysis. - Familiarity with renewable energy or solar industry financial metrics. - Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders. - Experience in managing cross-functional projects and teams.

## Experience - 3-7 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, with a proven track record of supporting strategic initiatives and financial planning. - Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments is preferred.

## Environment - The role may involve working in a hybrid or in-office setting, depending on company policies. - The work environment is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on innovation and growth. - Candidates should be comfortable working with complex datasets and leveraging AI tools to enhance decision-making.
