The posting

The BTEX Transformation Project Lead serves as the program delivery owner for strategic initiatives across Schneider Electric's global Business Travel & Expense program. The role is accountable for delivering BTEX transformation initiatives and converting travel, expense, payment, and operational data into actionable business intelligence, driving process optimization, digital innovation, and measurable business outcomes. Working across regions and functions, the role will lead global delivery governance, conduct end-to-end T&E data and process mining assessments, and introduce AI-enabled innovation that improves employee experience, operational efficiency, cost transparency, compliance, and decision-making. Key Responsibilities 1. Program Delivery Ownership Own the end-to-end delivery of global BTEX transformation program projects from initiation through implementation, stabilization, and benefits realization. Define and maintain integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, decisions, and acceptance criteria. Establish delivery governance, workstream cadence, decision forums, executive status reporting, and escalation mechanisms. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery, clear accountability, and rapid issue resolution. Monitor delivery performance and business outcomes; implement corrective actions when milestones, quality, adoption, or value realization are at risk. 2. Global T&E Process Mining and Process Excellence Lead global process mining assessments across travel booking, corporate card, expense submission, approval, audit, reimbursement, accounting, and payment processes. Define process-mining scope, required event data, process variants, control points, performance indicators, and target outcomes in partnership with process and data owners. Identify bottlenecks, rework, manual activities, policy deviations, control gaps, and automation opportunities across countries and regions. Translate findings into prioritized improvement roadmaps, standardized processes, control enhancements, and measurable efficiency initiatives. Embed continuous monitoring and value tracking to sustain improvements after implementation. 3. AI-Enabled Ways of Working and Project Delivery Embed AI into BTEX ways of working to improve productivity, collaboration, decision-making, and execution. Apply AI tools across project management activities, including planning, meeting preparation, documentation, status reporting, risk identification, action tracking, and stakeholder communication. Identify repetitive or manual activities that can be simplified or automated using approved AI capabilities. Promote practical AI adoption by developing reusable prompts, templates, working practices, and guidance for the BTEX team. Partner with Digital, Data, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure responsible and secure use of AI. Track the adoption and measurable impact of AI on project efficiency, delivery quality, employee experience, and business outcomes. 4. Business Analysis, Data and Value Realization Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process designs, data needs, and implementation priorities. Use travel, expense, card, supplier, policy, and operational data to validate improvement opportunities and support delivery decisions. Define program KPIs, baselines, target benefits, adoption measures, and post-implementation performance reviews. Partner with analytics teams to develop executive reporting and decision-support views that demonstrate progress and realized value. 5. Stakeholder, Change and Adoption Management Build alignment with global and regional stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Accounting, HR, Digital, Compliance, Security, Sustainability, and business operations. Lead requirements workshops, process reviews, design sessions, governance meetings, and executive steering updates. Develop change, communication, training, readiness, and adoption plans appropriate to impacted audiences. Act as a trusted delivery partner who balances global standardization, local requirements, user experience, governance, and implementation feasibility. 6. Technology and Vendor Delivery Management Manage delivery coordination with technology providers, travel management companies, payment partners, and implementation vendors. Clarify deliverables, responsibilities, dependencies, quality expectations, testing requirements, and acceptance criteria. Support solution evaluation and ensure vendor commitments remain aligned with BTEX architecture, governance, integration, security, and business requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Approximately five years of professional experience in project coordination, business analysis, data analytics, process improvement, digital transformation, or a related area. Experience supporting projects through planning, requirements gathering, status tracking, testing, implementation, and follow-up. Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including milestones, risks, dependencies, actions, and stakeholder reporting. Ability to analyze business processes and data, identify improvement opportunities, and convert findings into clear recommendations and actionable insights. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams and manage multiple priorities with guidance from senior stakeholders. Comfort working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Exposure to Business Travel, Expense Management, Corporate Cards, Payments, Finance Operations, Procurement, or Shared Services is an advantage. Familiarity with SAP Concur, PredictX, AppZen, Citi, travel management companies, ERP systems, or comparable business platforms is helpful but not required. Basic knowledge of process mapping, process mining, or continuous-improvement methods; experience with Celonis, SAP Signavio, or similar tools is a plus. Exposure to AI, analytics, automation, or digital employee-experience initiatives through work assignments, internships, academic projects, or certifications. Understanding of data quality, data privacy, internal controls, and policy compliance principles. Working knowledge of one or more analytics or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Excel, SQL, Python, or similar tools. Entry-level certification or training in project management, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, change management, process mining, data analytics, or AI is an advantage, but not required. Motivation to learn the global T&E domain and build capabilities in project delivery, process excellence, business intelligence, and AI-enabled innovation. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
