  • Health Monitoring and Documentation: Carefully observe and track changes in clients’ physical and emotional health. Accurately document all observations and promptly communicate any concerns or changes to healthcare professionals to ensure timely intervention and appropriate care adjustments.
  • Offer Companionship and Emotional Support: Build meaningful relationships through genuine conversation and engaging activities that brighten clients' days. Providing emotional support helps create a warm, trusting environment that encourages seniors to remain positive and socially connected.
  • Maintain a Safe and Organized Environment: Keep clients' living spaces tidy, hygienic, and free from hazards to promote a safe setting where seniors can thrive. Regularly check that safety measures are in place and assist with basic household tasks as needed.
  • Follow Individualized Care Plans: Adhere closely to customized care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare providers and family members, ensuring every client’s unique preferences and needs are met with utmost respect for their privacy and autonomy.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant Certification: Must hold a valid CNA certification recognized by the State of Wisconsin, demonstrating your professional qualifications and commitment to quality care.
  • Previous Caregiving Experience: While not mandatory, prior experience in caregiving roles is highly valued as it prepares you for the responsibilities of providing compassionate senior care.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect meaningfully with clients, their families, and fellow team members, fostering an atmosphere of trust, understanding, and collaboration.
