The posting

Sinds 1964 zijn we een betrouwbare partner van de Belgische marine, met een team van 130 scheepswerktuigkundigen en maritieme specialisten. Vanuit Zeebrugge verzorgen we dagelijks onderhoud, geplande revisies en dringende reparaties voor de Belgische en Nederlandse marinevloten, met speciale aandacht voor mijnenjagers.

Onze technici worden ook ingezet in binnen- en buitenland en passen zich aan aan vlootoperaties wereldwijd. Wij zijn op zoek naar een Technical Project Coordinator, om het team op onze site in Zeebrugge te versterken!

Main Responsibilities 1. Projectvoorbereiding & opvolging

  • Samen met de planner instaan voor de voorbereiding van technische projecten en het opstellen van de projectplanning, ondersteund door de technische expertise van de workshopmanagers
  • Opvolgen van de voortgang en planning van de verschillende werkzaamheden binnen het project
  • Afstemmen van de dagelijkse prioriteiten met de planner, teamleiders en workshopmanagers
  • Een actueel overzicht behouden van de scope van het project, inclusief wijzigingen, bijkomende werkzaamheden en eventuele problemen
  • Tijdig signaleren van mogelijke impact op planning, kwaliteit of budget

2. Klantcommunicatie

  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor onze opdrachtgever tijdens de uitvoering van het project
  • Afstemmen van de werkzaamheden die aan Serco zijn toevertrouwd met werkzaamheden aan boord van de schepen door derden
  • Communiceren over de voortgang van de werkzaamheden en eventuele problemen of vertragingen
  • Opvolgen van vragen rond onderdelen en logistieke problemen
  • In overleg met de klant en de technische teams zoeken naar praktische oplossingen wanneer de oorspronkelijke planning of aanpak moet worden aangepast

3. Interne coördinatie & communicatie

  • Actief afstemmen met technische teams, planners, teamleiders en workshopmanagers
  • Zorgen voor duidelijke, transparante en tijdige communicatie rond planning, techniek, kwaliteit en eventuele knelpunten
  • Ondersteunen bij het afstemmen van de beschikbare capaciteit tussen de verschillende technische disciplines
  • Opvolgen van openstaande acties en ervoor zorgen dat de juiste informatie bij de juiste personen terechtkomt
  • Bijdragen aan een vlotte samenwerking tussen de verschillende betrokken teams

Technische competenties

  • Bachelor in een technische richting, bij voorkeur Elektromechanica of een vergelijkbare opleiding
  • Minstens 2 à 3 jaar relevante ervaring in een technische, industriële of maritieme omgeving
  • Ervaring met het organiseren, plannen of coördineren van technische werkzaamheden
  • Technisch inzicht en het vermogen om technische informatie snel te begrijpen en te vertalen naar praktische acties
  • Ervaring binnen een industriële onderhoudsomgeving, maritieme sector of Defensie is een troef

Soft skills

  • Sterke communicatie- en coördinatievaardigheden
  • Goed georganiseerd en in staat om overzicht te bewaren over verschillende activiteiten
  • Analytisch en praktisch ingesteld
  • Proactieve en probleemoplossende mindset
  • Stressbestendig en flexibel wanneer prioriteiten of planningen wijzigen
  • Je werkt graag samen met verschillende technische teams en stakeholders

Opleiding & ervaring

  • Bachelor in een technische richting, bij voorkeur Elektromechanica
  • Minimaal 2 à 3 jaar ervaring in het organiseren, plannen of coördineren van technische, industriële of maritieme werkzaamheden
  • Ervaring binnen een context van Defensie is een troef

Een eerste ervaring als Project Coordinator, Technical Coordinator, Planner, Work Planner, Service Coordinator, Werkvoorbereider of in een vergelijkbare technische functie is relevant voor deze positie.

We staan ook open voor kandidaten die vanuit een technische functie willen doorgroeien naar een rol met meer projectcoördinatie en klantcontact.
