Al meer dan 40 jaar bestudeert SGS als toonaangevende onderzoeksorganisatie de capaciteit van een farmaceutische molecule om uit te groeien tot een veilig, efficiënt en duurzaam geneesmiddel of vaccin. En naar aanleiding van de opening van onze nieuwe locatie op de campus van Universitair Ziekenhuis Antwerpen, zijn we op zoek naar een Klinisch verpleegkundige (flexmedewerker). Vacatureomschrijving

Als Klinisch Verpleegkundige voer je samen met het medisch team (artsen, verpleegkundigen en zorgkundigen) complexe en innovatieve vroege fase klinische studies uit, waarbij experimentele geneesmiddelen, vaak voor de eerste keer, getest worden bij gezonde vrijwilligers en patiënten. Daarenboven is elke studie verschillend en dat maakt het enorm boeiend! Je onderzoekt niet alleen een grote variëteit aan geneesmiddelen. Jij genereert de data voor deze studies via een brede waaier aan paramedische activiteiten en je monitort de vrijwilligers van dichtbij. Je focust je hierbij vooral op de technische aspecten van een verpleegkundige. Het zorgaspect (inclusief de fysieke belasting) is in deze functie duidelijk minder aanwezig.

Studiegerelateerde activiteiten:

  • De paramedische taken zijn zeer divers en verschillen naargelang de fase van een klinische studie.
  • Algemene verpleegtechnische taken zijn bloedafname, bloeddruk meten, BMI bepaling, drugtesten op urinestaal, ECG, ... maar ook specifieke testen zoals spirometrie en bepaling van bloedingstijd komen aan bodtijdens selectie-onderzoeken van de vrijwilligers: medische screening. tijdens de retourvisites van de vrijwilligers: ambulante tussentijdse opvolgingen. tijdens het verblijf van vrijwilligers voor klinisch onderzoek: continue monitoring.

Jouw uurrooster wordt opgebouwd op basis van jouw beschikbaarheid. Werk je liever in de ochtend of toch liever een avondshift? Of komt het weekend je beter uit? Geen probleem, wij houden rekening met jouw persoonlijke voorkeur!

Functie-eisen

  • Je bent een gegradueerde/gebrevetteerde verpleegkundige.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je bent verpleegtechnisch een topper.
  • Je bent nauwkeurig en stipt.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en uitdagingen zijn je drijfveer.
  • Je bent flexibel en straalt vertrouwen uit.
  • Je bent min. 50 uur per maand beschikbaar.
  • Je wordt ingepland op basis van je beschikbaarheden en de noodwendigheid
